Beacon House is in a unique position standing 1000 feet above sea-level with magnificent views over open countryside; Peter's Stone and Cressbrook and Tansley Dale conservation area with its magnificent displays of purple orchids in May-time.
There are many walks from the door on to the conservation area with its wild flowers and small group of ponies, if you walk
through Cressbrook Dale it leads you to Monsal Dale, Monsal Head and the Monsal Trail where you can cycle/walk along the trail.
We are quietly situated yet only 5 minutes walk from the pretty village of Litton where the Red Lion provides a very good evening meal.
Beacon House is situated centrally and close by are Chatsworth House,Haddon Hall, the caves at Castleton, Plague village of Eyam
and the market town of Bakewell and Spa town of Buxton.
We have two spacious double en suite rooms with LCD TV and DVD player. tea making facilities. mini fridge. hairdryer. clock radio.
